Taking care of your jewelry

For your jewelry to shine just like on the day of purchase for many years to come, we have prepared some care and maintenance information and tips.

Keep your 925/000 silver

• jewelry in its original box or in a soft (velvet) bag,
• separated from other hard objects (in order to prevent friction and abrasions);
• only wash silver with mild soap and dry it with a soft cloth.
• Avoid wearing your jewelry in sulphur thermal waters that could darken your jewelry;
• put on your jewelry after using perfume, hairspray and skin creams that could come into contact with jewelry.

316L stainless steel

• Stainless steel jewelry does not need any frequent cleaning or polishing; it is a sturdy, resilient material resistant to damage. Occasionally, we recommend you to soak your jewelry in water for a couple of minutes, before patting it dry with a soft cloth.
• If your jewelry is gold-plated, silver-plated or rhodium-plated, opt for mild cleaning products and accessories to avoid damaging the cleaning layer.
• Stainless steel causes less allergies than jewelry made using other metals, but may still contain nickel or sulphur. We recommend caution if you are severely allergic.
• When you visit a spa, remove your stainless steel jewelry and store it in a safe place; thermal water contains sulphur which may damage your jewelry. The same applies for jewelry with decorative stones.
• Just like any other jewelry, we recommend our buyers to avoid contact with detergents or chemical substances when wearing stainless steel pieces. We recommend you to take off your jewelry while bathing, doing the dishes or cleaning.
• Stainless steel jewelry resists oxidation and rust, and is coated with a layer of UV-protection preventing it to change color in the light.
